Discover: Too Close To Touch

Too Close To Touch combine raw, heartfelt emotion with dark, melodic post-hardcore to great effect. Though the band only formed in 2012, this blend has already earned them the Best Underground Award at the 2016 APMAs, and a spot as co-headliners on a US tour. The band have already released two albums, both similar in sound, but there is a marked shift towards stark, Pvris-esque alt-rock on their newest release “Haven’t Been Myself.” Atmospheric, eerie verses contrast with the kind of scream-your-heart-out choruses characteristic of Pierce The Veil, and an increase in production serves to complement lead singer Keaton Pierce’s intense, trembling vocals and bring the ominous instrumentals to greater heights.

Favorites: “Sympathy,” “Crooked Smile,” “Hell To Pay”
